Our transcoder can prepare content for delivery over unstable internet to different devices that can automatically select required quality.

To produce a stable result we need to synchronize keyframes, audio for seamless switch.

DVB CBR compliance

We can create a constant bitrate stream that can fit into a window of HRD (hypothetical reference decoder) buffer with excellent fill rate of the channel (more than 98%).

Using this transcoder is required to pass all TR-101290 checks in part of buffer fullness and overflow validations.

Our DVB transcoder is preconfigured to work on biggest variety of existing STB and TV.

Hardware Acceleration

SCTE Ad markers

Integration of SCTE markers with our transcoder provides seamless ad insertion capabilities:

• •When ad marker appears in the stream, immediate IDR is inserted for ability to switch
• •SCTE104 from SDI is supported out of the box
• •SCTE35 marks from MPEG-TS (and ASI) are handled with proper handling of shifting sources

Low Latency

Latency control can vary a lot from very high latency and good quality (TV) to extremely low latency and moderate quality.

For controlling this we offer a unique feature with overall latency control from ingress to egress.

Underlying technologies allow sub-frame latency.
